The gardens were so lush, it felt like I was in a tropical paradise. And guess what? No mosquitoes! Total bonus.
Oh, the thrill of waiting for a slow and uncomfortable journey. Who needs efficiency and comfort anyways?

I recently had an incredible stay at Baia Sonambula in Tofo. The owners, Gianluca and Stephanie, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The attention to detail in the rooms was amazing, from the flowers on the bed to the cottage industry cosmetics in the bathroom. The breakfast overlooking the ocean was delicious, and the staff were always helpful and caring. The WiFi was fast and reliable, and the overall design of the guesthouse was tasteful and beautiful. I can't wait to come back to experience the honeymoon suite with the private plunge pool!
Totally recommend this hotel.

I enjoyed watching Humpback Whales while lounging on my private deck at Baia Sonambula. It was a truly captivating experience, definitely beats Netflix!
I just didn't like having a slow and uncomfortable traveling experience, waiting around like a royal in Mozambique. Ugh, so inconvenient!

We had a banging time in Tofo with our squad, and Baia Sonambula was the perfect base for our epic adventures. The beach was straight fire, the vibes were on point, and the staff were super chill. The rooms were dope, had everything we needed, and the ocean view was fuego. Baia Sonambula definitely knows how to cater to young party-goers like us!
The only thing missing was a sick party scene at the hotel itself. We had to head out to other spots in town to get our party on.

The rooms at Baia Sonambula are incredibly comfortable, with lovely touches like fresh flowers and homemade coconut oil. It feels like a cozy home away from home, with a central kitchen where the aroma of daily baked goods fills the air. Each room has a charming French-inspired boutique appeal that makes it feel extra special.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of one feature -. But hey, that's just my opinion and others might still enjoy it.
